Painting is a big part of my life and helps me express the beauty I see.

As a multifaceted individual, I balance my role as the principal of an engineering consulting firm with my passions for gardening, cooking, and painting. I am also a designer and entrepreneur who created globally influenced designs for my handbag company, which I successfully sold. This diverse background enriches my creative process, allowing me to approach art from unique perspectives. 

My artwork explores the intersection of abstract modern and contemporary art. I employ color and form to create compositions that reflect what I am experiencing or feeling.  

I embrace expansive canvases to create paintings that create ambiance for a room. I utilize oil paints on large canvases to create intricate layers of color in some paintings, such as my abstract marble-like paintings. I can use up to 30 or more layers of transparent oils to achieve the result. My abstract paintings usually reflect my emotions or the colors I am intrigued by while I paint.

In my floral paintings, I use different techniques to mimic and represent the beauty of flowers (including their entire lifecycle) and the delicate changes in the petal colors. Observing these cycles in my garden is a source of endless inspiration. Their beauty often leaves me in awe. I hope my paintings can be enjoyed for the emotions they evoke and the thoughts they inspire.
